Hailing from Medellín, Colombia, and born in 1988, Andrew GG has been captivated by the world of electronic music since the age of 15. A self-taught producer, Andrew honed his craft through experimentation, eventually diving deeper into the world of sound engineering. This dedication has resulted in a mastery of both sound design – particularly with synthesizers – and the intricate art of mixing and mastering. Andrew's music prioritizes sonic exploration and harmonious textures, crafting a unique and non-commercial sound that prioritizes artistic expression over fleeting trends.

Drawing inspiration from the melodic progressive movement and labels like Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep, his music carves a niche within the progressive trance scene. Focused on crafting captivating harmonies and melodies, he prioritizes artistic exploration over fleeting trends, resulting in a refreshingly unique sound.

Music visualization

Beyond the sonic realm, Andrew's creative process extends into the visual. Inspired by the neurological phenomenon of synesthesia, where senses intertwine, he translates his music into captivating visualizations. Utilizing tools like the frequency spectrum and the versatile GLSL (OpenGL Shading Language), he crafts mesmerizing landscapes that dance in tandem with the music's ebb and flow. These visuals, not merely an accompaniment, become an extension of the music itself, offering a deeper sensory journey for the listener.

Sound Design

Leveraging his expertise in sound engineering and design, Andrew has crafted a range of soundbanks. Notably, his two soundbanks designed specifically for the Viper synth by Adam Szabo (a renowned Virus emulation) boast deep textures and a wealth of effects. These versatile soundbanks cater perfectly to producers of Trance, Progressive, and Ambient music.
